Wizz Air Malta (W4, Malta International) plans to open a base at Suceava with two A321-200Ns. The first aircraft will be stationed at the Romanian airport in December 2025 and the second will follow in January 2026.

The low-cost carrier intends to inaugurate eight new routes from Suceava, connecting it with Milan Bergamo, Venice Marco Polo, Bologna, Vienna, Brussels Charleroi, Larnaca, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, and Birmingham, GB.

Wizz Air previously operated a base at Suceava but closed it in October 2023….
