The Venezuelan government has barred all flights to and from Peru from July 31 to August 31, 2024, LATAM Airlines Group announced.

Peru is the third country to have its air connectivity with Venezuela suspended as a diplomatic retaliation after Lima refused to recognise the result of Venezuela’s presidential election, which saw Nicolás Maduro controversially win another six-year term.
