Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International) is in discussions with Airbus and Boeing for a major widebody order composed of A350 and B777X aircraft, the company’s chief executive, Badr Mohammed Al Meer, has confirmed.

The Middle Eastern carrier could order up to 200 jets and the decision could be announced during the Farnborough Air Show, which will take place between July 22 and 26, Bloomberg reported.
