The chief operating officer at Air Chathams (3C, Chatham Island) says Whanganui District Council would be better off facilitating a route between Whanganui and Christchurch, instead of paying NZD6.7 million New Zealand dollars (USD4.1 million) to build a planned parallel taxiway.
