Hyundai Group (Seoul Gimpo) is planning to acquire a B737-8(BBJ) to replace its existing B737-700(BBJ) which is used as a spare for its recently acquired Gulfstream Aerospace G650ER.

Although the South Korean car manufacturer has yet to confirm any MAX 8 order with Boeing let alone a delivery date, Korea’s Aju News says recruitment ads are looking for type-rated pilots with command experience of over 7,000 hours. Hyundai Group was not immediately available for comment.
