The government of the British Virgin Islands has urged interCaribbean Airways (JY, Providenciales) to accelerate its efforts “to rectify inadequate service levels provided to travellers,” after complaints of delays, cancellations and other service-related issues.

interCaribbean Airways declined to comment on the matter. According to the island government, airline officials have attributed the disruptions primarily to technical difficulties with their aircraft and ongoing staffing problems but pledged to resolve the issues….
