FedEx has exercised options to purchase eight B777-200Fs from Boeing and acquired an additional two used aircraft of the type for its in-house airline FedEx Express. The logistics integrator also ordered ten ATR72-600Fs from ATR – Avions de Transport Régional but will delay the retirement of its MD-11Fs as it awaits the delivery of factory-new aircraft.
