The managing director and CEO of state-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Works following reports he had failed to turn up for work after the toppling of the Sheikh Hasina-led government on August 5, 2025. Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan was given his transfer orders on August 15, 2024, after just three months in the job holding both roles.
