Air Service Liege N.V., doing business as ASL airtaxi (BNJ, Liège), has requested US Department of Transportation (DOT) authorisation to operate charter services between the European Union and the United States.

The business aviation carrier is looking to conduct on-demand charter operations with bizjet aircraft of no more than 60 seats or a maximum payload capacity of up to 18,000 pounds (8.1 tonnes).
