AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines (J2, Baku Heydar Aliev International) has entered into a lease agreement with CDB Aviation for two A320-200Ns with deliveries due in June and July 2025.

Both jets will be equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A engines, making it the first such A320neo in AZAL’s fleet. The Azeri flag carrier currently operates three A320-200Ns on lease from Aviation Capital Group with Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, according to the ch-aviation fleets module.
