Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) announced that Brazil’s civil aviation authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil – ANAC) had decided to lift an administrative sanction that restricted the carrier from adding new routes and frequencies from September 2025 onwards.

The airline said in a statement that the infractions were “purely documentary in nature”, dated prior to 2023, and did not involve any issues related to operational safety or service provision.
