Libyan Express (LB, Misurata) is planning to induct its first turboprop aircraft, namely an ATR42-500.

The charter specialist posted a job advertisement for ATR42-500-rated pilots on June 30. The development was confirmed later by Maltese aviation website, MAviO News, which reported that the Libyan carrier was in “final stages” of acquiring the ATR – Avions de Transport Régional aircraft.

Libyan Express did not respond to ch-aviation’s request for confirmation of its plans.
