Boeing has granted USD61 million worth of supplier credit memos to Alaska Air Group to be used for future Boeing purchases, the airline holding announced in its quarterly financial results.

The credit notes were issued after the end of the first quarter of 2024 and are in addition to the USD162 million cash payment Boeing made to the firm to compensate for the losses it incurred due to the grounding of Alaska AirlinesB737-9 fleet, following a mid-air cabin panel blowout in early January.
