EgyptAir (MS, Cairo International) will sell its fleet of twelve A220-300s to Azorra Aviation amid plans to retire the type completely.
In a statement, Azorra said it is acquiring the jets from Egyptair to support the state-owned airline’s ongoing fleet transformation, which includes new A350-900s, due from Airbus as well as eighteen B737-8s due from Air Lease Corporation.
